FISKARS HAND CRANKED HOIST

CAD orientated project, completed as part of my 2nd Year Product Design Course at De Montfort University Leicester

This is a CAD project I worked on in my 2nd Term of Year 2 at De Montfort. It was based primarily on CAD Modelling and material testing inside of Solidworks. I explored the brand of Fiskars to apply to a standard hoist and began to process my ideas into a design. I completed four material stress tests to ensure that the framework was secure. I went on to add finer details such as wheels and support bars. The development also includes a working mechanism inside of Solidworks.
